  • Phase 1: Squad Up! (Jan-Mar 2025)
    Every great journey starts with the right team. Team up with like-minded innovators who share your passion for creating change.
  • Phase 2: Level Up! (Apr-Aug 2025)
    Dive into workshops, boot camps, and mentorship sessions tailored to sharpen your skills and refine your idea. Plus, receive funding to build your prototype – it’s time to bring your concept to life!
  • Phase 3: Get Legit! (Sep 2025)
    Turn your idea into a real venture. You will receive the right support to take your solution to the next stage.
  • Phase 4: Showtime! (Oct-Jan 2026)
    Present your innovation to a panel of experts. The top teams will win seed funding, ongoing mentorship, and all the tools needed to launch their ventures successfully.
  • Phase 5: Scale Up! (Feb-Mar 2026)
    It’s time to amplify your impact! Connect with investors, secure partnerships, and explore government support to scale your solutions. DI Movement is committed to helping you make a lasting difference.
Eligibility Criteria

    Are you ready to be part of something bigger? NEST is for young innovators with the drive to solve real-world problems.

    This is a full-time program, so make sure you’re ready to dive in completely. We need a full-time commitment of at least a year.

    Do you meet the eligibility criteria?

  • You can be an individual or team upto two co-founders who can submit their solutions.
  • You can be a final-year student, a graduate within the past 5 years or even someone without formal higher education. (You’re eligible—no matter your field of study.)
  • Young innovators who have chosen the path less taken. It is important that you are willing to take the step into the realm of entrepreneurship.
  • Solution should address a clear social problem with a well defined statement for the Indian subcontinent with clearly defined outcomes or goals.
  • Your solution must be a unique product or a service. Your product should have a low-fidelity prototype or a proof of concept.(A simple, early-stage representation of a product or service that's used to test ideas and functionality.)
  • We welcome solutions being created on the basis of research papers. Your professors can act as mentors/guides the solutions.

  • Bootcamp Boost: This intensive training has been designed by experts from various backgounds to arm you with all the essentials to turn your vision into a thriving venture. Get a deep dive into social entrepreneurship, creating a business plan, marketing strategies, financial planning, and much more.
  • Mentor Magic: Receive personalized mentorship from industry experts. They’ll guide you in refining your prototype, polishing your pitch, and navigating the entrepreneurial journey with confidence.
  • Startup Registration: Simplify the complexities of starting your business. NEST offers hands-on support for all legal essentials ensuring compliance with regulations—leaving you free to focus on your idea.
  • Incubation Support: Need time to refine your prototype? DI Movement offers those high-potential team a monthly stipend of up to INR 50,000 per team for six months, giving you the resources to perfect your idea.
  • Seed Capital: Deliver a standout pitch, and you could win up to INR 10 lakhs in seed funding. This investment will help you elevate your prototype and start creating meaningful impact.
  • Growth Network: The support doesn’t end with the program. Become a part of NEST's cohort and gain access to IIM Calcutta Innovation Park’s extensive network of investors, government agencies, and key industry players. This invaluable network helps you scale your impact, expand your reach, and connect with the right partners for long-term success.
  • Seed Support: Step up and pitch your idea to a jury of industry leaders and influencers. If your pitch resonates, you’ll not only gain validation but also access to significant funding to fuel your venture.
