K Chandrasekhar co-founded Forus Health in 2010, with the intention of preventing avoidable blindness. He currently serves as the CEO and executive board member of Forus. 

Fondly known as KC the Sunshine Man by his colleagues, has a track record of over 20 years in handling business development, business strategy, operations management, partnership management, and sales management portfolios for major semiconductor and software companies. KC has taken various products and services to market in India and in almost every continent on earth. 

KC was instrumental in Forus Health raising more than  18.5M $ funding from marquee investors Accel Partners, IDG Ventures, and Asian Health Fund. Prior to founding Forus Health, KC was the Director of Strategy & Software Partnerships at NXP (Philips) Semiconductors. KC is an alumnus of BITS Pilani and Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kolkata
