Anuj Sharma is an engineer by training, and a development practitioner and social entrepreneur by passion. He is engaged in designing and scaling up low-cost, high-impact, sustainable solutions for the last 17 years. He is currently serving as the CEO of Piramal Sarvajal. He is the brain behind the development of path-breaking technology like the Soochak, a remote monitoring device which ensures pro-active control of plant operations, and designing innovative solutions for beyond-the-pipe challenges through the hub & spoke model.

Anuj has been a speaker at various forums and institutions like IIM, IRMA, EDI, The Economist and others. A Santa Clara University’s GSBI Social Entrepreneurship Fellow, he was also recognized as India’s most talented rural marketing professionals by CMO Asia.
